Join us along with Chapter 2 Books and a presentation by local author, L.C. Simon of Stillwater, MN.
He has released his second book in the Detective Jack Janssen series, Sound of Silence.
This series is based on true events from Simon’s decades in law enforcement at the Washington County Sheriff's Office where he was assigned to investigate crimes against children.
Simon weaves a compelling novel with complexities that develop into an unimaginable and unpredictable conclusion. Buckle up and enjoy the ride-along.

Ship Captain's Daughter: Growing Up on the Great Lakes
Ann Michler Lewis will speak about life growing up on the shores of Lake Superior and the writing of her memoir Ship Captain's Daughter: Growing Up on the Great Lakes.
Ann Michler Lewis grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, where she lived from 1944 to 1967. She graduated from the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and then taught English at Duluth East High School, her alma mater. Since 1972, she has lived with her family in Saint Paul, Minnesota, making periodic pilgrimages back "home" to Lake Superior.
This event is inspired by the book Buzzworthy: Cocktails inspired by Female Literary Greats by Jennifer Croll.
